Join us as Sales Manager TIR (Technical Insulation Residential) in Italy.

As Sales Manager TIR, you will drive the commercial development and execution of our Technical Insulation Residential (TIR) business across Italy. This is a field-focused sales role for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering sustainable growth. Working closely with distributors, contractors, installers, and key customers, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence and strengthening our position as a trusted partner in the insulation market.

What you'll do

• Drive sales growth by executing commercial plans and achieving revenue, margin, and profitability targets across Italy.


• Spend significant time in the field developing relationships with customers, distributors, installers, and key market stakeholders.


• Identify and secure new business opportunities while growing and maintaining existing customer relationships.


• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity development through negotiation and deal closure.


• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through effective CRM management, forecasting, and structured follow-up.


• Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and commercial priorities.


• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and profitable business development.


• Act as the voice of the customer, translating market insights into actionable recommendations and value propositions.


• Represent Etex Building Performance at customer meetings, trade fairs, industry events, and commercial presentations.


• Support product and solution presentations as well as customer and distributor training activities when required.


• Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Product Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

What you'll bring

• 3-5 years of successful external B2B sales experience.


• Proven track record of delivering profitable sales growth and developing new business opportunities.


• Strong commercial mindset with excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and customer management skills.


• Experience within building materials, construction, insulation, industrial products, or related sectors is highly valued.


• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to spend significant time in the field with customers.


• Experience in key account management, customer development, and territory management.


• Solid understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, and margin management.


• Experience working with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.


• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to translate market insights into business opportunities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.


• A degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience and a strong commercial track record will also be considered.


• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.


• Willingness to travel frequently across Italy and internationally.
