Senior Manager - Global IT, Production & MES 

Do you see yourself in a role where you lead people, drive change, and connect business and IT to create real value? If so, you might be our next Senior Manager in Global IT, Production & MES.

In this role, you will lead a team working closely with the business to deliver solutions that improve how our factories run every day. You will set direction, ensure strong collaboration, and make sure that our work creates visible results across the organisation.

Danish Crown is going through a major transformation, with strong focus on digitalization of our factories. Production IT plays a key role in this journey. We work across more than 50 production sites, improving processes, replacing legacy systems, and creating better transparency through data. As a Senior Manager, you will take responsibility for both people, delivery, and direction in this transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop your team, creating an environment where people feel motivated, supported, and able to perform at their best


• Set clear goals and expectations, and follow up through regular 1:1s, feedback, and PDP processes to ensure continuous development and performance


• Build a strong team culture based on trust, openness, and collaboration, where people take ownership and support each other


• Ensure the team has the right capabilities, skills, and capacity to meet current and future needs


• Drive employee engagement and well-being, including follow up on employee satisfaction surveys and improvement initiatives


• Ensure clarity on roles, responsibilities, and ways of working within the team and across interfaces


• Balance people leadership with ensuring that the team delivers high quality solutions that create value for the business


• Participate in the planning and prioritization of deliveries in collaboration with the service owners


• Engage proactively with stakeholders to enable aligned decisions. 


• Lead an area where decisions tend to be more tactical than operational. 

The ideal candidate

We are looking for a leader who combines strong people skills with business understanding and IT knowledge.

• Proven experience as a people manager, with a passion for developing others and building strong teams


• Experience and understanding of MES and OT is an advantage but not a prerequisite


• A leadership style that is approachable, supportive, and clear, with the ability to create trust and engagement


• Strong ability to coach and develop employees, including handling both high performance and underperformance in a constructive way


• Experience working in environments with change, where you have helped teams adapt and succeed


• Strong stakeholder skills, but with a clear identity as a people leader first


• Ability to create structure, clarity, and direction in a sometimes complex and changing environment


• Clear and calm communicator who can simplify messages and ensure alignment


• Focus on collaboration, team spirit, and creating a positive working environment


• Strong communication skills in English and Danish 


• Structured, proactive, and focused on results

You can expect approx. 10-30 travel days per year.

Your department: Production – Part of Global IT
You will be part of Global IT, a large and international organisation supporting Danish Crown across several countries.

Production is part of Danish Crown’s Global IT department, headquartered in Randers. Global IT operates as a global IT competence centre for both new and existing solutions, with more than 270 colleagues located in Denmark, Poland, Sweden, and Germany – approximately 150 of whom are based at our Randers HQ.

Your workplace will be at Danish Crown Vej 1, Randers but expect approx. 10-30 travel days as projects require on-site presence.
