Tribe Lead Daily Banking

As the Tribe Lead Daily Banking for Business Banking at ING Italy, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the strategy, product vision, and end‑to‑end customer experience for all daily banking services dedicated to business banking clients.

You will lead a multidisciplinary tribe composed of Product Owners, Customer Journey Experts, Data specialists, Engineers, and Risk/Compliance partners. Your mission is to ensure that ING’s daily banking offering is simple, digital, compliant, and highly competitive—empowering business customers to manage their financial operations seamlessly and securely.

You will partner closely with both local and global stakeholders within ING.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Daily Banking strategy for Business Banking (Maintenance and Run MVP1 and completion longtail, variations for One Business Banking Wave 1).
• Develop a clear product vision and translate it into a prioritized and data‑driven roadmap.
• Drive innovation by integrating customer insights, market trends, regulatory developments, and digital best practices.
• Lead and inspire a cross-functional Tribe, ensuring strong alignment, empowerment, and performance across squads.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, customer-centricity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Champion the voice of the Business Banking customer by ensuring a simple and intuitive daily banking journey.
• Monitor competitive trends, customer behaviors, and technological developments to evolve ING’s offering.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience across all channels (online, mobile, contact center).
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Legal, and TECH to ensure aligned execution.
• Coordinate with global product tribes to leverage ING’s international capabilities and platforms.
• Ensure all products and processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
• Drive operational efficiency, process optimization, and automation initiatives.

Competencies:

• Significant experience (15+ years) in Product Management, Payments, Daily Banking, or related financial services roles.
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams within an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking needs, payment instruments, cash management, and regulatory frameworks (PSD2, AML, SEPA, etc.).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in international banking or digital-native financial institutions.
• Strong analytical background and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
