Role Summary and Impact

As an Intern within the Product Media Solutions team, you will support the development, positioning and adoption of innovative advertising solutions across channels such as Connected TV, Digital Out of Home, Audio, Social and Retail Media. Working alongside product, commercial and agency teams, you will gain hands-on experience in digital advertising, media innovation and emerging technologies, contributing to projects that combine creativity, data and technology to create value for clients

Activities

• Support the development of product marketing and communication materials, including case studies, newsletters, presentations, one-pagers and sales materials that showcase our solutions and the results achieved for clients.


• Contribute to the creative development of advertising formats by supporting the creation of mock-ups and the adaptation of clients’ creative assets to the technical specifications of different advertising platforms.


• Assist in preparing materials and responses to briefs and follow-up requests from WPP Media’s commercial teams and agencies.


• Maintain trackers and reports to monitor the adoption of our solutions across clients and agencies, developing familiarity with relevant business data and performance indicators.


• Conduct research into advertising market trends, technology partners and emerging solutions.


• Explore and experiment with artificial intelligence tools to support everyday activities and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s work.


• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, commercial stakeholders, technology partners and international colleagues on ongoing projects and initiatives.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, completed or in progress, in Marketing, Communications, Economics, Design or a related field.


• Strong interest in new media, digital advertising and the evolution of programmatic advertising.


• Curiosity, proactivity and a strong willingness to learn, experiment and contribute to the team’s projects.


• Critical-thinking skills and the ability to turn information and insights into concrete ideas and proposals.


• Good organisational skills, accuracy and reliability when managing multiple activities and deadlines.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.


• Confidence in working with numbers and data, combined with an interest in understanding their business meaning.


• Good written and spoken Italian and English.


• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.


• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with Adobe Premiere would be considered a plus.


• Interest in the application of artificial intelligence in the workplace and curiosity about tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude and other large language models, as well as the role of AI in digital advertising campaigns.


• Studies or previous experience in graphic design, familiarity with newsletter distribution tools such as Mailchimp, or a portfolio or personal project to share would be considered a plus.
