Supplier Industrial Engineer (Internship)

TEAM OVERVIEW: \n\nAGS Supplier Engineering Group works with suppliers to validate their manufacturing capability to ensure they can build parts to Applied drawings and requirements. We are an international team with various discipline engineers.\n\nSCOPE OF TRAINING\n\nWork with New Product Development teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.\n\nInteract with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure suppliers are involved in the development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability.\n\nUse project management skills and quality tools to investigate alternate manufacturing processes for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability. \n\nContinuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology, through AI tools.\n\nAssist with quality problem resolutions and incident management.\n\nWork with Special Process Suppliers: Cleaning, Plating, Anodization, Surface Treatments, Coatings, etc.\n\nInvolvement in quality resolution with suppliers.\n\nPartner with Supplier Chain, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\n\n * University Degree pref.
