Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the General ledger in compliance with monthly closing deadlines
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities 
• Ensure compliance with Accounting and Tax standards (e.g. IFRS,LUX GAAP, Tax rules) and company policies 
• Support the preparation of separate and consolidated financial statements and management reports of the Group, liaise with external auditors and consultants as needed
• Assist to perform  balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies 
• Assist to perform variance analysis of key P&L and balance sheet items 
• Contribute proactively to process improvements and finance function optimization Collaborating with other departments on financial matters 
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required by management 

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

   

Essential requirements for the position:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related experience 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting
• Strong experience in general ledger accounting, consolidation and financial reporting 
• Experience in multinational or corporate environment preferred
• SAP knowledge is considered as an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
• Good communication and documentation skills 
• Proficiency in Excel 
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage 
• Reliable team player, detail-oriented, with a structured approach
