Luxembourg School of Business (LSB) is seeking to appoint an innovative and committed Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Strategic Management, to bolster our growing focus on business strategy, corporate strategy, and international business realms. The appointment is expected to commence on September 1, 2024.

The successful candidate will be a part of an evolving and collaborative academic environment, contributing to the excellence in research and teaching activities in strategic management. They will have opportunities to lead and participate in collaborative research projects, and share their expertise in the classroom, enriching the academic experiences of our students across Bachelor, Master, and MBA programs.

• Conduct high-quality research in strategic management, with an inclination towards business strategy, corporate strategy, or international business.
  


• Deliver engaging teaching experiences in strategic management courses at undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels.
  


• Engage in the development of academic programs and curriculum in strategic management.
  


• Participate in departmental service, faculty governance, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or doctorate degree in Strategic Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field from a prestigious university.
  


• A robust track record of research and publications in reputable management or related academic journals.
  


• Evidence of excellent teaching ability in English at various academic levels, specifically in the domain of strategic management.
  


• Desire for collegial collaboration within the department and engagement in broader academic and professional communities.
  


• Experience teaching in Master / MBA and Executive Education programs.
  


• Experience designing executive education programs.
