Bartender

Job Brief:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes competitive salary and tips.


Responsibilities:

• Execute the tasks of a server and/or bartender as needed.
• Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase sales and service.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits and ensure quality of all food or beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience.
• The ability to work closely with the Management to design an effective menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
• Responsible for creative beverage creation and costing of the cocktail program
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.

Skills Required:

Our ideal Head Bartender will have strong leadership and communication skills and good problem-solving ability. Ability to multi task and detail oriented are also essential. It is also needed minimum two years of experience in renown bars. Must have the legal right to work in Luxembourg and have fluency in English or French
