We are looking for an experienced and client-centric Client Solution Manager to own and nurture the strategic relationship with our institutional clients across their full portfolio of initiatives. This role focuses on solution design, target operating model definition, onboarding advisory, scoping, and long-term client value development—without being responsible for day-to-day project execution.
Operating within a next-generation blockchain-enabled, cloud-native, microservice-based market infrastructure for fund distribution, the Client Solution Manager plays a critical role in understanding client needs, translating them into clear solution proposals, and acting as the strategic partner who guides clients on how best to leverage our platform to achieve business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong client engagement skills, deep domain knowledge in asset management/distribution, and an ability to formulate actionable, scalable solutions that balance client expectations with product strategy.
Your responsibilities include
Client Relationship & Portfolio Management
Serve as the primary business partner for institutional clients, maintaining a long-term, trust-based relationship.
Understand client strategic objectives, business architecture, and operational workflows to map opportunities for platform adoption.
Maintain a clear view of each client’s portfolio of initiatives, priorities, and potential growth areas.
Conduct regular client governance meetings to review pipeline, solution options, and product evolution.
Solution Design & Target Operating Model Definition
Analyze client requirements and design high-level target operating models aligned with our platform’s capabilities.
Define end-to-end solutions covering process flows, data exchanges, integrations, onboarding steps, and compliance requirements.
Advise clients on optimal ways to adopt components of the platform based on their operational maturity and business objectives.
Collaborate with Product Architects and Product Owners to ensure proposed solutions align with the long-term product roadmap.
Client Onboarding Advisory (Pre-Project)
Support new client onboarding from a business and solution perspective—before formal project execution begins.
Lead client discovery workshops, requirement clarification sessions, and initial solution demonstrations.
Define onboarding scope, deliverables, dependencies, and high-level milestones (handoff to project management for execution).
Work closely with Client Project Managers and Client Service to ensure a structured transition from scoping to delivery.
Statement of Work (SoW) & Commercial Scoping
Lead preparation of Statements of Work (SoWs), functional scoping documents, and commercial proposals.
Identify resource needs, implementation complexity, third-party dependencies, and approximate timelines (at a solution—not execution—level).
Ensure all SoWs are aligned with product capabilities, regulatory constraints, and internal delivery capacity.
Support Sales and Business Development for RFPs, pre-sales discussions, and platform demonstrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Product Owners to convey client requirements, market needs, and strategic opportunities.
Work closely with the Technical Architect teams to validate solution feasibility and architectural alignment.
Coordinate with Client Service regarding client expectations and future support considerations.
Support Marketing and Leadership teams by providing insights into market trends and client usage patterns.
Maintain documentation of solution blueprints, client operating models, and approved SoWs.
Track client feedback to contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding frameworks and product features.
Participate in internal governance forums, representing the voice of the client and advocating for strategic clients when needed.
Key skills
Strong understanding of fund distribution, asset management, custody, transfer agency, or broader financial market infrastructure.
Excellent client-facing communication, negotiation, and strategic advisory skills.
Ability to translate client needs into clear, structured, scalable solution designs.
Good understanding of cloud-native, API-driven platforms; ability to discuss integration flows and data models at a conceptual level.
Strong analytical and documentation skills, with a structured and rigorous approach to scoping.
Ability to balance client priorities with product constraints and long-term platform strategy.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving fintech organization.
Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset.
Required experience
7–12+ years in client-facing roles such as solution consulting, client advisory, product consulting, business architecture, or pre-sales within fintech or financial services.
Experience designing operating models, business workflows, or solution architectures for institutional clients.
Prior exposure to market infrastructures, blockchain/DLT platforms, fund distribution networks, or regulated financial environments is strongly preferred.
Proven experience preparing SoWs, scoping materials, and functional specifications.
Strong track record of engaging with senior stakeholders (operations, technology, product, compliance).
Experience working with Agile product and engineering teams is an advantage.
