Purpose of the job / project
The ICUdata4EU project, funded by the European Union's Digital Europe Programme (Grant Agreement No 101168169), aims to standardise and improve the use of patient data for critically ill individuals across borders. By creating a strong data infrastructure, it strives to enhance clinical decisions, enable personalised care, and promote predictive healthcare, revolutionising critical care in Europe. The key goals are to standardise Intensive Care Unit (ICU) data, develop a centralised data platform, promote cross-border analysis, and ensure privacy and security.
As a Platform Security Engineer, you will support the security and reliability of LNDS
infrastructure and services. You will work as part of the technology team to help implement
security best practices across cloud environments, applications, data platforms, and operational services. You will contribute to the secure delivery of services supporting the ICUdata4EU initiative and collaborate with internal teams and European partners to help ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and operational.
You will be mentored by experienced colleagues and progressively develop autonomy in security engineering, cloud infrastructure, and secure software delivery practices.
