Job Scope:
Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning to support business operations.
Oversee costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Develop and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
Support business expansion, process improvement initiatives, and other ad-hoc finance projects assigned by management.
Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Prior experience in manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Familiar with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), SST, and corporate tax regulations.
Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
