The Job

Designation: Accountant / Senior Accountant

Working Location: Menara BHL Tower, Penang

Working Days: 5 days 

Working Timing: 8am – 5pm

Duration: Perm 

No of Vacancies: 2

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor Degree

Job Description: 

•      Hands-on for the full set of accounts and generate monthly relevant reports including reporting package, cash flow report, etc

•      Solid tax background and can handle SST and WHT issues

•      Liaise with outsourcing company and monitor the job progress for outsourcing jobs/tasks

•      Plan and control the company’s cash flow, funding and budget allocation

•      Control and manages end-to-end financial processes in support of the account which includes collections, payments, monthly close activities and balance sheet reconciliation

•      Provide and interpret the monthly financial information and operating reports to the Management

•      Ensuring all accounting systems, practices, controls and procedures are fully compliance with company policy

•      Establish effective internal control procedures to improve accounting and reporting systems

•      Ensure all the accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system

•      Liaise with Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agent, Bankers and etc.

•      Assist on any ad-hoc tasks required by others department

Job Requirement:  

•      Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accountancy /ACCA or equivalent

•      Required to have working experience either in audit or tax firm

•      Committed, analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently (one-man show), and could work remotely in Malaysia with reporting to Singapore team and China team (headquarter)

•      Required to have good written and communication skills in English and Mandarin to work with various stakeholders

•      Good communication and interpersonal skill, meticulous, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

•      MIA member will be an added advantage

•      Familiar with Oracle Software will be an added advantage

•      Able to start immediately is an added advantage
