Analog Circuit Designer

Staff Analog Circuit Design Engineer 

1. Responsibilities: 
   

1. Apply your in-depth understanding of power process technologies, both existing and those under development, to design innovative power management & gate driver products.
   

2. Transistor-level design of mixed-signal circuits of new and derivative power management products 
   

3. To validate circuit and system performance in the lab. 
   

Requirements

2. Experience & Qualifications: 
   

1. Thorough understanding of integrated analog circuit design 
   

2. Thorough understanding of bipolar, BiCMOS and BCD process technologies and circuit techniques 
   

3. Experience with basic analog building blocks (i.e. opamps, comparators, references, A/D and D/A converters, flip-flops, etc) 
   

4. Experience in designing & validation of Data converters, PWM controllers, voltage regulators & switching regulators Ics. 
   

5. Thorough understanding of various switch-mode power conversion topologies (BOOST & BUCK, various control method, multiple-phase current sharing, etc.) 
   

6. Experience in analog IC/ mixed signals IC designs, verifications and tests. Knowledge in analog CMOS design or power management unit is an added advantage 
   

7. Experience with behavioral top-level modeling and mixed signal verification methodology 
   

8. Experience working with layout team on block and top level floor-planning with layout guidance and precautions. 
   

9. MSEE with 5+ years (or BSEE with 7+ years) of relevant industry experience with a strong background in analog design and a proven record of successful released power management products 
   

10. CD & EDA tool skill: 
    

1. a) at least 5 year of design experience as product leader and can determine circuit architecture 
   

2. b) Expertise with Cadence Virtuoso XL, Spectre & ADE-XL simulator, Spectre-RF, AMSD, LPE, etc. 
   

11. Experience with Aging-Aware Design Methods for Reliable circuit design and verification knowhow
    

12. Proficient in electronic bench equipment usage and automation measurement 
    

13. Able to communicate fluently and write well in English 
    

14. Able to work at Penang Malaysia
