Analyst Programmer (Informix)

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications and supporting components to meetbusiness needs

• Conduct unit testing on applications to ensure its readiness for SIT / UAT

• Assist on functional and non-functional testing of applications

• Assist System Analysts on system design and documentation

• Participate in joint development with external solution providers for external applications

• Provide effective post go-live system support on external applications

• Active involvement in production support for Informix based systems

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of development experience in complete system development life cycle

• Good experience and exposure in Informix 4GL application development

• Excellent SQL programming experience

• Proficient in IBM Informix DB

• Good knowledge in UNIX shell script programming

• Experience in Windows batch script programming (an added advantage)

• Domain knowledge in insurance industry (an added advantage)

• Knowledge in other common programming languages (an added advantage)

• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

• Team player with strong self-initiative

• Quick learning & independent individual

• Able to perform well under challenging timeline

• Possess outstanding professionalism with pleasant attitude and personality

Experience : 4+

Education : Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in Information Technology
