Applications Developer/Support
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Salary: RM5,000 - RM6,500 per month
Cognition Learning Group is seeking an Applications Developer/Support professional to join our IT & Digital Transformation Team.
Reporting to the Global Director, IT & Digital Transformation, the successful candidate will provide first and second-line IT support, support learning platforms, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide responsive IT support to staff, learners, and stakeholders.
Support the development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of learning management systems and applications.
Assist with system integrations, workflows, and automation activities.
Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.
Support digital transformation projects, system improvements, and data migration activities.
Manage user access, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Internal Relationships:
IT & Digital Transformation team, HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Learning teams, project stakeholders, business managers and leadership across Cognition Learning Group.
External Relationships:
Software vendors (e.g. Zoho, Microsoft), cloud and hosting providers, managed service providers, third-party technology partners, consultants, and client representatives involved in system support, development and integration.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
Minimum two years experience in IT Support, Application Support, LMS Support, Junior Development, or a similar role.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, LMS platforms, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs, and systems integration concepts.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
