Assistant Manager, Lab & Capability Enabler

At CIMB, we're on a journey to create a simpler, better and faster organisation. As part of this transformation, we are looking for an Assistant Manager, Lab & Capability Enablement to help drive enterprise-wide capability development, innovation and AI adoption initiatives.

This role goes beyond traditional training and learning management. You will help design and deliver programmes that equip employees with future-ready skills, foster a culture of continuous improvement and empower teams to turn ideas into real business impact.

Working within the SBF Lab - Innovation Centre, you will collaborate with leaders, business units, AI, technology teams and learning partners to scale initiatives across areas such as:

• Innovation and Design Thinking


• Process Improvement and Lean methodologies


• Digital Transformation


• Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI Adoption


• Change Management and Employee Engagement


• Capability Building and Learning Programmes

What you'll do:

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end capability development programmes


• Drive employee engagement and adoption initiatives


• Support AI and digital capability acceleration across the organisation


• Organise large-scale learning events, workshops and communities


• Track business impact, programme effectiveness and adoption metrics


• Partner with stakeholders to develop future-ready workforce capabilities

What we're looking for:

• 4-7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Capability Building, Change Management, Project Management, Innovation or Digital Transformation


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment


• Passion for people development, innovation and organisational transformation


• Experience in financial services or large organisations is an advantage
