Job Description
Develop and execute the branch’s business plan and strategy in line with achieving profitability and sustainable growth.
Drive revenue generation across all business segments, identifying opportunities to expand market share and deepen customer relationships.
Proactively lead, motivate, and manage the sales force to achieve and exceed sales targets across retail, SME, and corporate segments.
Monitor sales pipelines and implement strategies to improve productivity, conversion rates, and overall performance.
Act as the primary business ambassador (“single captain”) for the branch, building and sustaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Identify, develop, and capture new business opportunities to grow the branch portfolio.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing and engaged team, focusing on upskilling and reskilling of staff to meet evolving business needs.
Foster a positive work culture that promotes employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Balance business growth with effective risk management, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards.
Promote a strong culture of corporate governance and ethical conduct, acting as a role model within the branch.
Serve as the key point of contact for customers, championing the end-to-end customer journey and delivering exceptional service experiences.
Drive customer satisfaction and continuously improve service quality through feedback and innovation.
Oversee overall branch operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and strong risk controls.
Ensure timely resolution of audit findings, compliance gaps, and operational issues.
Support and drive digital initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency, including promoting digital adoption among staff and customers.
Facilitate business digitalisation initiatives such as FinLab Jom Transformation to support customers’ growth journeys.
Promote the Bank’s regional franchise through cross-border banking solutions and support Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) opportunities.
Job Requirements
Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 - 12 years of banking experience, with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership or branch management role.
Strong track record in sales management, business development, and achieving financial targets.
Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing, coaching, and developing teams.
Sound knowledge of banking products, operations, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance growth and risk effectively.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
