Job Purpose

Provide strategic leadership and stewardship of the
organisation’s financial and commercial performance, covering Finance, FP&A,
and Supply Chain. The CFO ensures financial sustainability, profitability,
liquidity, and effective resource allocation, while delivering strategic
insights to support business decisions and long‑term growth. Working closely
with the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board, the CFO shapes business strategy,
drives financial and operational performance, strengthens governance and risk
management, and optimises financial and supply chain resources.

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Management

  • Develop
    and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise
    CEO, Executive Committee, and Board on financial and commercial matters.
  • Lead
    capital management and financial planning to support sustainable growth.
  • Evaluate
    investments and major initiatives to ensure sound decisions.
  • Foster
    a culture of accountability and value creation.

2. Financial Planning, Performance & Reporting

  • Lead
    budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning.
  • Oversee
    accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor
    performance against targets and recommend corrective actions.
  • Drive
    scenario planning and business modelling.
  • Manage
    cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
  • Safeguard
    integrity of financial information for decision‑making.

3. Commercial Performance & Cost Management

  • Partner
    with business leaders to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Identify
    opportunities to improve margins, productivity, and ROI.
  • Lead
    cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Evaluate
    business cases and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide
    insights on key drivers to support timely action.

4. Supply Chain & Procurement Management

  • Oversee
    supply chain and procurement for efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement
    strategies aligned with business and financial objectives.
  • Optimise
    procurement costs, supplier performance, and inventory.
  • Strengthen
    supplier governance and risk management.
  • Enhance
    supply chain efficiency, cost, quality, and service levels.

5. Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure
    compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Maintain
    effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
  • Oversee
    audit processes and resolve findings.
  • Identify
    and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Promote
    integrity, accountability, and compliance culture.


6. Board, Executive & Stakeholder Management
  • Partner
    with CEO and Executive Committee on strategic matters.
  • Provide
    financial updates and recommendations to the Board.
  • Manage
    relationships with shareholders, banks, auditors, regulators, and
    advisors.
  • Represent
    the organisation in external financial and commercial matters.
  • Build
    strong cross‑functional partnerships across business functions.

7. Finance Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead
    and develop a high‑performing Finance team.
  • Build
    strong analytical and commercial capabilities.
  • Set
    clear performance expectations and development plans.
  • Develop
    succession plans and strengthen leadership pipeline.
  • Foster
    continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s
    degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • Professional
    qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • MBA or
    advanced professional certification (preferred)

Requirement:

  • 10–15
    years in Finance, with 5+ years in senior leadership (CFO/Finance Director
    level).
  • Expertise
    in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong
    knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, audit, controls, and risk
    management.
  • Experience
    in cash flow, capital management, and financial planning.
  • Proven
    ability to advise senior management and support decision‑making.
  • Track
    record in cost optimisation and profitability improvement.
  • Experience
    building and leading high‑performing teams.
