Companys Background

We are representing our client Malaysia's leading company in exhibition and event management services. Currently they are preparing for an IPO in Malaysia and is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial strategy and operations.

• Reports to CEO

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
• Lead the preparation for the companys IPO, including managing timelines, financial documentation, and compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.
• Oversee all financial operations, including cash flow management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and manage financial risks.
• Collaborate with executive management to develop long-term financial plans and growth strategies.
• Oversee the finance department
• Prepare financial forecasts and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Professional Accounting Qualification - MIA, ACCA/CPA
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a senior financial role.
• Experience in IPO listing exercise or from Malaysia public listed companies.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to strategize and solve complex financial problems.
