Job Responsibilities:

⚫ Participate in professional scheme design, feasibility analysis, cost comparison, and construction drawing design management of the data center project structure, design support for on-site construction.

⚫ Have experience with structural types and design methods of buildings/structures in the construction industry, participate in the professional design plans for project structures, effectively manage design team and consultants, and provide effective design suggestions, review relevant construction plans and construction drawings.

⚫ Responsible for structural technical index control, project bidding and bid evaluation, review and manage the detailed design completed by the contractor according to the project plan and design.

⚫ Organize and coordinate the with other specialty on design and continuous optimization of design; Have ability to analyze and solve problems on site; Familiar with construction technology and procedures.

⚫ Organize and participate in the testing and acceptance of relevant structures in data center projects/constructions, Responsible for project coordination, technical change, and other post-project matter.

⚫ Responsible for the communication and coordination of design consultants, owners, government departments, suppliers, and contractors of DC projects.

Job requirements:

⚫ Bachelor’s degree or above, familiar with the standards and specifications of structural design of buildings/structures; Familiar with national design codes, American standard design codes, British standard design codes, familiar with the design process in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia and Singapore, as well as the approval process and requirements of the local government for structural expertise.

⚫ More than 8 years of structural engineering design and project management experience in Malaysia, Singapore, or other Southeast Asia, with experience in structural design and management of data centers or large-scale industrial plants/warehouses, familiar with structural transformation and reinforcement is preferred.

⚫ Independently completed structural scheme design and detailed construction design of large-scale industrial or warehouse projects, proficient in structural calculation and design including concrete structure frame/frame shear wall structure, steel structure, proficient in underground engineering (geotechnical exploration, pile foundation engineering, basement, foundation pit support, etc.) ;

⚫ Familiar with the mainstream structural materials and construction techniques in Malaysia;

⚫ Familiar with the basic design and acceptance criteria of Malaysia, Singapore, or other Southeast Asia, and have experience in the implementation of related projects.

⚫ Have enthusiasm for the data center industry, good communication and coordination skills, teamwork spirit, international teamwork ability, enterprising spirit and professionalism, and can work under high pressure environment.
