Contract Manager (Pre -Contract Electrical)

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical works, including materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor components.
  
• Develop cost plans, pricing strategies, and value engineering options to enhance bid competitiveness.
  
• Manage the end -to -end tendering process, including tender review, pricing, submission, and post -tender clarification.
  
• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure full compliance with client requirements.
  
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to obtain competitive and technically compliant quotations.
  
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations during pre -tender stage.
  
• Identify key risks, exclusions, and assumptions, and incorporate them into tender submissions.
  
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure design inputs align with cost and commercial strategy.
  
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the tender stage.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, commercial) to ensure accuracy of submissions.
  

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  
• Proven experience in pre -contract, tendering, estimation, or quantity surveying within electrical or construction projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of tendering processes, cost estimation, and electrical systems.
  
• Strong communication and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  
• Ability to handle multiple tenders within tight deadlines.
  
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
