Digital Marketing Manager - Regent Kuala Lumpur (Pre-opening)

• Reviews and provides analysis on all website and email campaign tracking, for both individual property sites as well as corporate email campaign results and IHG property reports.
• Uses and interprets all reporting necessary for sound marketing recommendations.
• Provides regular tracking/ROI and analysis of promotions and website/email campaigns, using industry averages for ROI calculation, and uses this knowledge in future planning.  
  Coordinates execution of online marketing efforts through approved agencies/vendors
• Manages the Content management platform of IHG and the Hotel
• Ensures that the Hotel’s social media pages, including the food & beverage concepts, and Spa are all optimised with the highest quality content to accelerate growth and engagement.
• Works with regional Digital and eCommerce team to optimize Paid Search performance.
• Assures that hotel independent website and global sites are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines.
• Identifies hotel-specific online digital activation needs (e.g., local channels to focus marketing efforts through).
• Assists in the development and execution of the hotel marketing plan
• Manage and optimize OTAs and other metasearch channel
• Manages assigned accounts as per the media account management system
• Ensures consistency in individual property's voice on all guest touchpoints and marketing communications, not only following corporate brand standards, but also on behalf of the individual property.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Ensure the hotel's digital presence accurately reflects the guest experience, so expectations set online are met on arrival
• Craft accurate, compelling content across web, social, and OTA channels that helps guests choose their stay with confidence
• Keep booking journeys across web and distribution channels seamless and accurate
• Use guest engagement data and feedback to continuously refine pre-arrival communication and offers

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

• Ensure all marketing content and campaigns comply with data privacy and consumer protection regulations
• Uphold brand and legal guidelines across paid media, partnerships, and vendor engagements
• Manage digital marketing budgets and media spend responsibly, tracking ROI against agreed targets
• Partner with regional teams to ensure ethical, transparent data use in guest targeting and personalisation

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Accountability for the hotel's digital marketing performance across website, social, and paid media channels
• Responsible for managing the annual digital marketing and department operating budget, tracking spends against agreed targets
• Accountable for the hotel's online visibility, guest engagement, and digital revenue contribution
• Ensures alignment between property-level digital activity and IHG's regional and global marketing strategy

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU  

Qualifications  

Bachelor's degree in eCommerce, Marketing, Business Administration or related major

Experience

3 year-experience in the sales, marketing, digital, eCommerce or related professional area; hospitality marketing or agency experience    

Required Skills  

Basic Computer Skills - Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).

Communication Skills - Listens, reads, and writes clearly and effectively to understand and convey information for workplace needs.

Language

Proficient English communications and writing skills to facilitate the communication process
