Engineer, Pavement & Asset Management (Kuala Lumpur)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Organize and manage data collected from Pavement Condition Assessment (PCA) survey.


• Analyse and interpret pavement condition indicators such as cracking, rutting, and surface roughness.


• Prepare clear and concise technical reports, data visualizations, and presentation slide materials.


• Assist in maintaining pavement databases and utilizing modelling software to support annual maintenance budgeting and planning.


• Collaborate effectively with design teams, maintenance units, other internal departments, and external clients to ensure smooth project execution.


• Continuously learn and apply new engineering software, data analysis tools, and best practices in pavement and asset management.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager to support project needs and team goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.


• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.


• Strong academic background in road and pavement engineering is an added advantage.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas, data visualization).


• Interest in data management and data-driven decision making.


• Knowledge in handling/ managing and performing statistical analysis of large datasets is an added advantage.


• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new software and skills.


• Candidate must have strong attention to detail and possess an analytical mindset.
