Engineering Assistant

Description
The Engineering Assistant will play a pivotal role in the FG 0499-040-00464 MFG - Engineering - 2505 department, ensuring that all engineering and plant documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible. This position handles the receipt and tracking of purchase requisitions and orders, and provides essential administrative support to keep the engineering team operating efficiently. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain and update document registration for engineering drawings, specifications, and plant documentation.
• Raise purchase requisitions (PR), tracking progress, and performing good/service receiving and purchase orders (PO) receiving.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for procurement documentation.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the engineering team.
• Consolidating and prepare periodical reports.
• Assist in preparation of department/team procedure/working instructions.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Diploma in Engineering or administration, Technical Management, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in engineering documentation or administrative support.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes (PR/PO).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
