GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

The Marketing & Sales Executive is responsible for driving patient and revenue growth through direct engagement with insurance providers, MCOs, corporate clients, and general practitioners (GPs). This role focuses on executing marketing strategies, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring effective promotion of the hospital’s services. The Executive acts as a key link between the hospital and external stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction, collaboration, and sustained business growth. 

 

RESPONSIBLE  FOR 

1.    Implementing marketing and promotional activities at hospital level in line with the department’s strategy. 
2.    Supporting the Head of BGM in executing sales, branding, and business growth initiatives. 
3.    Coordinating events, health campaigns, and CSR programs to strengthen hospital visibility. 
4.    Assisting in developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, insurers, and general practitioners. 
5.    Managing preparation of marketing materials, social media postings, and basic digital campaigns. 
6.    Collecting market data, monitoring competitors, and preparing regular reports for management review. 
7.    Ensuring all activities comply with the hospital’s policies, SOPs, and corporate branding guidelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

1. Insurance & MCO Engagement 

  • Liaise with insurance companies and MCOs to strengthen partnerships and secure panel agreements. 
  • Support admission processes, billing approvals, and patient facilitation. 
  • Resolve feedback/disputes raised by insurers and escalate when necessary. 
  • Promote hospital services and packages to insurance/MCO partners. 
2. Corporate Client Management 
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate companies for health screening, wellness, and medical services. 
  • Conduct corporate visits, presentations, and engagement programs. 
  • Prepare proposals/packages customized to client requirements. 
  • Track utilization, resolve issues, and ensure positive client experience. 
3. General Practitioner (GP) Engagement 
  • Conduct regular visitations to GPs within hospital catchment areas. 
  • Promote specialist services, packages, and referral pathways. 
  • Organize CME (Continuous Medical Education), networking events, and GP briefings. 
  • Ensure GPs receive updates on consultants and hospital services. 
4. CSR (Social Corporate Responsibility) & Community Engagement 
  • Assist in planning and executing CSR programs and community outreach events. 
  • Coordinate sponsorships, health talks, wellness programs, and hospital-led community initiatives. 
  • Align CSR activities with hospital’s brand positioning and corporate identity. 
5. Corporate Branding 
  • Ensure all marketing collaterals and communications comply with brand identity guidelines (CI). 
  • Support development of promotional materials (brochures, digital content, advertisements). 
  • Enhance hospital visibility through branding campaigns and PR efforts. 
6. Market Research & Reporting 
  • Conduct competitor monitoring (pricing, promotions, services). 
  • Gather insights from patient feedback, GP referrals, and corporate partners. 
  • Prepare monthly market research and sales performance reports. 
  • Recommend improvements to strengthen hospital positioning. 

JOB REQUIREMENT 

1. Education 

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree 

  • Specialization: Marketing, International Business and Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or Business Development 

Preferred: 

  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or hospitality industries. 

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, event management, and customer engagement. 

2. Knowledge and Experiences: 

  • Marketing strategies and techniques (digital and traditional). 

  • Corporate branding, communication, and client relations. 

  • Event coordination and campaign execution. 

  • Basic data analytics and market research. 

  • At least 2–3 years of working experience in marketing, sales, or business development. 

  • Experience in handling clients, vendors, or external stakeholders. 

  • Exposure to healthcare, insurance, or tourism sectors is an added advantage 

 

4. Special Skills and Competency. 

  • Communication and negotiation skills for client servicing. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build long-term partnerships. 

  • Knowledge of insurance/MCO processes and healthcare marketing. 

  • Digital marketing proficiency (social media management, analytics, content creation). 

  • Organisational skills for event and CSR coordination. 

  • Analytical mindset for market research and competitor tracking. 

  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
