Finance Executive - General Accounting

Reports To: Financial Controller

Job Summary: The Finance Executive – General Accounting is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, preparing financial and tax reports, and ensuring proper account reconciliations and fixed asset management in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  Post accounting transactions accurately and ensure all entries are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  
  


• 
  
  Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  
  


• 
  
  Support the monthly closing process, including the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reports within stipulated timelines.Compile, review, and reconcile monthly tax-related reports to ensure timely submission to the relevant tax authorities.

  Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all asset records are accurate, complete, and properly documented.

  Perform cashiering duties whenever required and ensure proper handling of cash transactions.

  Be adaptable and willing to take on additional duties as needed to support the team on an ad hoc basis.
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Finance, or Accounting.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in other languages is an added advantage.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrates self-management and upholds core values in the workplace.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in operating standard office equipment.

  A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
