Financial Accounting, Deputy Manager (Contract)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Manager to support finance operations, month-end closing, and financial control activities. The role is responsible for reviewing claims, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and cheque issuance requests, while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls. 

Responsibilities 

• 
  

  Review and approve claims in accordance with company policies. 

• 
  

  Coordinate new store Oracle code creation and maintenance. 

• 
  

  Support sales incentive target administration. 

• 
  

  Review and post finance journals. 

• 
  

  Review balance sheet schedules and reconciliations. 

• 
  

  Review claims, journals, and supporting documents. 

• 
  

  Review cheque issuance requests. 

• 
  

  Support month-end close and finance operational activities. 

Requirements 

• 
  

  Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline. 

• 
  

  Minimum 5 years experience in finance operations, accounting, AP, or audit. 

• 
  

  Strong understanding of journals, reconciliations, payment controls, and finance governance. 

• 
  

  Good working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. 

• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

• 
  

  Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders. 

• 
  

  Good communication and coordination skills.
