Freelance Data Analyst

We are looking for a capable and analytical individual to support a three-month data-analysis project. Applicants from different backgrounds are welcome, including career returners, homemakers, retirees and experienced professionals seeking a short-term project.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, organise and validate project data.

• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, errors and useful insights.

• Prepare reports, summaries, dashboards and data visualisations.

• Convert raw data into clear and practical business findings.

• Perform data reconciliation and investigate inconsistencies.

• Work closely with the project team to understand reporting requirements.

• Present findings clearly to management and relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, calculations and analysis methods.

• Protect the confidentiality and integrity of company or customer information.

• Complete all agreed deliverables within the three-month project timeline.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables and data-cleaning functions.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python or similar tools would be an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to explain findings in a simple and understandable manner.

• Careful, organised and able to work with large volumes of information.

• Able to work independently while coordinating with the project team.

• Must be available to work full-time from the office for the entire three-month project.
