Freight Forwarder Assistant

Logistics or Warehouse Coordination:

1. Work closely with freight, warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth scheduling and dispatch deliveries.


2. Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers.


3. Assist in route planning and vehicle assignment to optimize delivery schedules.Ensure accurate documentation related to shipments, including invoices, delivery notes, and transport records.

Customer Service & Coordination:

1. Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to shipments, deliveries and service issues.


2. Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status, delays, and expected delivery times.


3. Address customer complaints, investigate issues, and coordinate with relevant department for resolution.


4. Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders by ensuring excellent service and prompt responses.


5. Ensure proactive communication with customers about service disruptions or schedule changes.


6. Identify common customer concerns and suggest improvements to enhance service efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service issues, and resolution timelines.


2. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on service levels and customer satisfaction.


3. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all documentation processes.


4. Support Supervisor in data entry, invoice verification and report generation.


5. Monitor customer feedback and assist in implementing strategies for better service delivery.


6. Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and industry regulations.
