Our client is the top Automotive retail group in Malaysia looking for Head of Retail Marketing.
Job Purpose:
Plan, develop, implement and supervise all marketing activities of Retail Malaysia operating units with the aim of assisting the Managing Director to drive the results of the operating units to achieve the profit objectives as per Plan.
Evaluate the adequacy and integrity of the Retail Malaysia operating units’ marketing activities.
Assist the Managing Director in strategic direction and plan execution.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Plans, Strategy & Execution
Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop integrated marketing plans & strategy with specific objectives across different channels and segments for all retail business units under Retail Malaysia.
Identify retail marketing KPIs in line with principal requirements/dealer plan for all Operating Units. Work with sales and aftersales to ensure the set KPIs are met.
To develop & drive centralised events / marketing efforts / partnerships to achieve specific retail objectives & goals.
Interact and supervise all Heads of Marketing in planning, developing and implementing integrated brand / product communication and PR strategy across all communication channels for all Operating Units (OUs).
Lead the execution of integrated marketing initiatives from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration – both internal and external.
Working in partnership with all OUs marketing team, guide creative direction/concepts to meet objectives for all advertising and communications, including Above -the -line, Below -the -line and digital.
Conceptualize and execute integrated multi -channel campaigns across the brands, prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
Manage content and updates for customers and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support.
Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
Maintaining good relationship with Principals of all brands under Retail Malaysia.
Budget
Review annual A&P budget for all Operating Units.
Drive cost -saving initiatives to ensure synergy among all Operating Units and maximise returns.
Create procurement and purchasing synergies across all OUs for Advertising & Promotion (A&P) expenses to increase process efficiency and achieve economies of scale.
Compliance
Monitor and supervise OUs to ensure all A&P expenses/purchases & procurement processes are following company policies & GPPA guidelines
Monitor and ensure all marketing activities are in line with the Organization's policies, guidelines and goals.
Digital Marketing
Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
Work closely with Data Analyst to create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go -to -market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
Work in partnership with Digital Transformation Manager to identify the key areas to drive digital marketing initiatives including Marketing Performance Management, marketing automation, CRM tools, lead management, etc.
Requirements
Degree in Marketing / Corporate Communication / Event Management or any related field.
At least 7 years’ experience in marketing and between 2 to 5 years as head of department.
Technical Competencies: Brand Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Event Management, Budgeting & Costing.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malay is essential. Good command of Mandarin is an advantage.
