Key Responsibilities

- Develop, recommend and implement the IT Strategic and Plan that supports Organization and Business objectives.

 -          Engage business and develop the appropriate IT strategy and roadmap to support business strategy

-          Lead and direct team in ensuring strong operation and reliable IT systems that supports Business objective, drawing support and expertise from Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, IT Infrastructure, IT Security and any other relevant teams

-          Develop a dynamic and strategic IT resource management plan in order to ensure efficient and optimize allocation and utilization of IT resources to meet the business objectives.

 -          Build organization strength with the right organization design and build organizational strength through developing the talents with the right empowerment, directions, coaching and succession pipeline

-          Build strong teamwork and collaboration within teams in Group Technology.

-          Promote and instill the RHB culture (One RHB, Results Oriented, Customer First), develop strong team ownership on system resiliency, technology risk management and compliance culture

 -          Strengthen incident management capabilities and where necessary take the lead and work with Head of IT Infrastructure and IT Security to drive service recovery and incident management that meets the RMiT requirement

-          Build strategic and mutually-beneficial relationship with technology solution partners and service providers to further strengthen the Group’s capabilities

-          Define and manage the IT Capex and Opex for the applications and technology stacks relevant to the business represented, in close collaboration with Group IT Finance and Vendor / Contract Management teams

 -          Promote continuous learning and culture of innovation within the team

-          Facilitate and mediate conflicts among IT teams. Collaborate with other stakeholders to identify potential sources of conflict and implement resolution and proactive measures.

-          Promote and cultivate staff to maintain high-performance culture across the organization

-          Actively participate in Group Technology leadership forums and contribute to the overall success of the Group Technology

-          Proactive and decisive in making prompt decisions, ensuring timely responses to critical issues and facilitating efficient execution.

-          Continuously assess and promptly respond to regulatory and compliance demands, maintaining strict adherence to relevant guidelines at all time
