Job Description

Strategy and Planning drives and manages the lifecycle of all projects and initiatives for the division. This includes developing strategies, identifying key priorities, and implementing efficient processes to ensure alignment, faster time-to-market, and strategic clarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop a well-defined strategy and game plan for all areas within Consumer Business in collaboration with stakeholders.


• Identify and prioritize key initiatives and align them with the Consumer Business roadmap.


• Conduct research, facilitate ideation sessions, and propose innovative solutions to address market needs.


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and adherence to deadlines.


• Lead forums for concept approvals, ensuring alignment with stakeholders across divisions.


• Review and refine commercial proposals, ensuring strategic and financial viability.


• Define and implement standardized processes to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and scalability.


• Prepare impactful materials for townhalls, management meetings, and external communications.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in management consulting, strategy development, strategic planning, project management, or similar roles.


• Experience in Financial Services, FMCG, Media, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Technology, or multinational corporations is preferred.


• A professional qualification (CFA/CA) or MBA is an added advantage (but not essential)


• Strong understanding of the telecommunications market, industry trends, and emerging technologies


• Proficient in synthesising concepts and analysis into recommendations for top management decision making


• Able to multi-task and manage own time effectively and ability to handle multiple strategic priorities, with support from manager and other team members


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, solid financial acumen and ability to structure the narrative/key arguments


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to tackle complex challenges and drive results


• Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to stakeholders and external business partners


• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities as well as work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously


• Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
