Land Transport, Billing Officer

Job Summary:

Responsible for the billing of trucking, custom handling and duty outlay to customers and cost booking of vendor charges.

Job Responsibilities:

• Received job files from our customer service upon POD receipt.
• Check the job files and quotation tally with every shipment.
• Prepare a draft invoice for every job file or shipment.
• Issue invoices in the system.
• Generate invoices into PDF Format and consolidate with POD and other supporting documents as required by customer into a single PDF file.
• Submit invoices and supporting documents to the customer via email or electronically.
• To review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy before submitting to customer on timely manner.
• Received and sorted incoming invoice and supporting documents from the vendor and book into system.
• Follow up with customer service for pending invoices.
• Compile, file and maintain records of past billing to the customer for future retrieval.
• To ensure completion of all pending job files before month end closing.
• Re-accrual revenue and cost before end month closing.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Finance or any equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of work experiences in a related field.
• Knowledge of warehouse management system would be an advantage.
• Service oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills.
