Lead, Strategy & Vendor Performance

As a key member of our regional shops team, you will drive commercial success across our three brands foodpanda, foodora, and yemeksepeti. We are expanding our business into new verticals and the opportunities are endless. The Commercial department is in charge of partnering with the retailers that want to sell their products through our marketplace.  Should we get into this new segment? Should we extend our offer to that neighbourhood? How can we do it faster and more efficiently? How should we manage thousands of partners efficiently? As the Lead, Strategy & Vendor Performance, you will be responsible to answers these questions defining and driving the sales strategy on how to offer the best supply to our customers across the 16 countries.

Responsibilities

• Be ready to jump into new arising strategic projects that shape the Shops commercial business
• Ideate the right setup for a successful execution of the strategy per country 
• Develop supporting tools and processes to ease and accelerate local sales
• Coordinate cross functional initiatives with Sales, Product, Logistics, Operations and Analytics to improve our Shops offering holistically
• Lead cross functional initiatives with Sales, CRM, Category Management, Product, Operations, Analytics and Marketing to improve our Shops execution holistically

• 7+ years experience in fast-paced environments (startups, top consulting firms, top digital companies, FMCG, retailers);
• Good understanding FMCG, retail and/or e-commerce business, as well as revenue/growth dynamics and drivers;
• Influencing skills: you can be a true project leader in multidisciplinary teams;
• A data-driven mentality: you make decisions based on data and you are not afraid of making business judgments when necessary. SQL is a plus;
• A problem-solving mindset: you enjoy finding smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems
