Penerangan Pekerjaan - Life Sciences - Sales - Senior Consultant

Responsible to learn and understanding life science research products and services represented by the Company.

Responsible for the sale of assigned research products and area of coverage.

Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by emails, post, telephone and personal visitations.

Responsible to conduct pre -sales demo, giving effective presentation with technical selling skills and product knowledge in assigned area of coverage.

Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline and forecast to ensure sales visibility and planning accuracy.

Liaise with principals for technical support, pricing approvals, and promotional activities.
Coordinate instrument evaluations, loan units, and follow up to conversion.
Lead strategic account planning and identify long -term growth opportunities within assigned territory.

Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing sale.

Carry out market research, monitor competitors’ activities and customer surveys.

Responsible for maintaining good customer relations and building rapport & support given to all customers.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required from the Superior from time to time.

Provide Training and coach team members.

Requirements

Experience handling government tenders, RFQ processes, and institutional procurement procedures is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Strong discipline in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Strong analytical mind and troubleshooting skills.
Reporting skill.
Presentation skill.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Solid experience in life science sales, preferably in molecular biology portfolios (PCR/qPCR, nucleic acid extraction, NGS).
