• Leasing Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement actionable leasing plans, budgets, and revenue forecasts in line with corporate goals.

• Tenant Sourcing: Identify, prospect, and recruit new retail, F&B, or commercial tenants through market research, cold calling, and industry networking.

• Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate lease terms, rentals, and fit-out requirements, and coordinate the drafting and execution of Letters of Offer and Tenancy Agreements with legal teams.

• Tenant Relations: Maintain strong landlord-tenant relationships, handle tenant complaints, review sales performance, and assist low-performing tenants to reduce turnover.

• Market Research: Monitor competitor pricing, shopping center trends, and retail property developments.

• Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly leasing activity reports, occupancy dashboards, and sales performance analysis for upper management.

• Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with legal, finance, operations, project, and fit-out teams to ensure smooth unit handovers and timely collection of rentals and deposits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Property Development, or a related field.
Experience: Generally 3 to 8 years of proven experience in retail or commercial property leasing within shopping malls or developer firms
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia).
Sound knowledge of Malaysian tenancy laws, contract documentation, and leasing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
