Manager - Design

Job Summary

To oversee and monitor senior design engineers’ and design engineers’ work and assign tasks to senior design engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop BIM standards, documentation and workflow for project and asset management.


• Conduct internal training to team members on BIM.


• Liaise with clients and a variety of professionals including architects, consultants and subcontractors.


• Undertake structural calculations from time to time.


• Resolve design and development problems.


• Supervise and guide engineer & draftspersons assigned to the project; providing technical advice


• and coordinating with other relevant departments.


• Provide technical support and value engineering input to ensure cost effectiveness.


• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.


• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

Skills & Abilities

• Able to operate the BIM software.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

• At least 5 year of related working experience.
