JOB PURPOSE

• Assist with project management roles for the implementation of risk-related projects, facilitate the execution of Material Risk Assessment (MRA) exercise across various divisions, and provide support in the secretariat function of the Group Board Risk Management Committee (GBRMC). 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide support in project management roles for Basel implementation and other risk-related projects, including facilitating communication among stakeholders, coordinating timelines and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Facilitate the execution of Material Risk Assessment (MRA) exercise across the divisions within the Group as part of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP). This involves working closely with key personnel from other divisions to ensure that all key risk exposures are thoroughly assessed and reported.
• Support the GBRMC secretariat function, including preparing meeting minutes, summarising key deliberations, decisions, and action items, as well as following up on matters arising from previous meetings. Additionally, assist in planning the meeting calendar and reviewing the terms of reference as and when required.
• Assist in reviewing risk management frameworks/policies/manuals.
• Assist in any other duties or ad-hoc tasks in the areas of enterprise risk management as directed by the Head, Group Enterprise Risk Management and Group Chief Risk Officer (“GCRO”).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of working experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience in banking risk management, minute writing, and project management is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and organisational skills.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
