Role Purpose
The Manager, Human Capital Business Driver (HCBD) is responsible for aligning human capital strategies with business objectives to support the company’s direction. This role drives workforce planning, organizational development, and business transformation initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of Group Human Capital (GHC) programs within the Business Unit (BU). The incumbent also provides advisory support on structure, compensation, and people-related matters while upholding governance, policies, and MAG core values across the organization.
Key Accountability
- Execute short-to-medium-term Human Capital plans (headcount & organizational development), and stay updated on divisional budgeting, tracking expenses, and reporting financial variances.
- Prepare and analyze essential workforce data, including manpower statistics, recruitment needs, and workforce mobilization activities, to support operational tracking and decision-making.
- Facilitate the implementation of Human Capital elements within business transformation initiatives and collaborate with BUs to monitor KPIs and drive operational improvements.
- Provide localized advisory support to middle management on routine organizational structure, job evaluation, and role alignment.
- Partner with BUs) to execute and administer compensation, benefits, and industrial relations policies, ensuring local equity and compliance.
- Manage and execute the Career Pathing framework (EMD), facilitating development communication to ensure consistent skill alignment across technical and non-technical roles.
- Serve as a change champion to actively institutionalize corporate values, and analyze employee sentiment data to prepare actionable engagement insights.
- Ensure effective communication, operational adherence to governance frameworks, and compliance with all Human Capital policies and controls within the division.
Qualification & Working Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Management or any relevant discipline
- At least 8 years in HR with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a Human Capital Business Partner.
