Media Analyst

Role Overview

• We are seeking a proactive and driven Data & Media Analyst 
• The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical capabilities, data storytelling, and expertise in building clear and understandable insights.
• In this role, you will contribute to key client accounts and new business opportunities by delivering high-quality analysis and reporting, grounded in robust data extraction.
• Using CARMA tools, you will integrate and interpret diverse datasets to produce actionable insights that enable Client to build effective, efficient and accountable communications.
• This is a 12 months contract role with a chance to be absorbed by the company post end of contract

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of excellent, consistent service and results to clients; bring rigorous evaluation and measurement
• Translate and summarise media content to deliver regular media reports and alerts to inform the client of any impending developments or crises in media coverage.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative media data analysis to understand the extent of media volume during significant developments and provide sentiment analysis of said reports and mentions.
• Ensure the accuracy, comprehensive coverage, and timely delivery of daily reports on the client’s media footprint.
• Utilise our tools and dashboard software suite to cover the end-to-end process of extracting raw data, uncovering insights, and delivering factual, digestible reports to clients and account teams.
• Takes responsibility for ensuring excellent client communication at all levels, defining KPIs, deadlines and service agreements.

• Work with account servicing teams to ensure account profitability and optimize reporting and monitor revenues for the business.

• Required qualifications / certifications: Diploma or Degree holder
• Years of experience required: Entry Level
• Key technical or functional skills: AI, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
• Soft skills/personality traits preferred: Strong in communication, and interpersonal skills
• Languages required: Fluent in English, Malay
• Preparing Daily Executive Report for Client (cutoff time: 8.30am & 6.30pm)
• Preparing Weekly Report
• Preparing Fortnightly Report
• Preparing Monthly Report
• Preparing Special Report – on request basis
• Aka act as dedicated analyst for this Client project

• 12 days Annual Leaves per year post 1 month probation

• This is a 12 months contract role with a chance to be absorbed by the company post end of contract
