About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Member Service Agent to join our outbound contact centre team. In this role, you’ll engage with warm leads who have already expressed interest in CPA Australia, guiding them through their membership journey and converting interest into enrolments. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional member experiences and contributing to new member growth. You’ll be supported with comprehensive training to build strong knowledge of the CPA Program and sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Membership Growth
- Convert prospective leads into new CPA Australia members through outbound engagement
- Achieve individual and team-based enrolment and conversion targets
- Identify member needs, overcome challenges, and clearly articulate the value of CPA membership
- Deliver high-quality, personalised interactions to enhance the member experience
Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience
- Provide accurate advice, information, and solutions across multiple channels (phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp)
- Practice active listening to understand member goals and challenges
- Ensure timely, professional handling of all enquiries
Support Team Success
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared performance goals
- Provide support to inbound teams during peak periods where required
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across CPA Australia
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of CPA products and offerings
- Capture insights from member interactions to improve future campaigns
- Share feedback, ideas, and best practices to support team and organisational growth
- Participate in team forums, stand-ups, and planning sessions
About You
You’re a motivated sales professional who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys working toward targets while delivering meaningful outcomes.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales or contact centre environments
- Is confident communicating with a diverse, global audience
- Demonstrates strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Has a proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset
- Is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Takes ownership and shows initiative in achieving goals
Nice to have:
- Experience working with Australian or Western markets
- Additional language skills (Mandarin or Cantonese highly regarded)
