Job Description
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of bond and Sukuk agency services, including issuance, redemption, coupon payments, and corporate actions.- Act as the primary point of contact regarding bond/Sukuk agency matters.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and industry best practices for bond/Sukuk agency services.
- Oversee the accuracy and timely processing of all bond/Sukuk related transactions, including interest/profit payments, principal redemptions, and transfers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all bond/Sukuk agency transactions and activities.
- Prepare and review various reports for internal management, regulatory bodies, and clients.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks associated with bond/Sukuk agency services.
- To attend to all compliance review matters for the department.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 2 years in a bond/Sukuk agency, trust, or corporate finance role.
- Strong understanding of bond and Sukuk structures, issuance processes, and market practices.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines governing debt capital markets and Islamic finance in Malaysia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with relevant financial software systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
