Job Summary:



  • Responsible for the facilities operations and maintenance.

  • Manage effectively and efficiently the smooth operation of dedicated area of responsibility.




 



Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Direct activities of the facilities section to ensure the proper reliability and appearance of the facilities and provide manpower support to technology group.

  • Assure the reliable and cost effective operation of dedicated section.

  • Provide technical support and expertise on projects and give constructive advice in the management, design and operation of major facilities so that they are safe, efficient, and cost effective and utilize standard equipment.

  • Ensure facilities equipment and system in good condition to ensure reliable supply to manufacturing.

  • Assist in internal and external audits related to facilities system operation and maintenance.

  • Set up and assure the continuing support of interdepartmental teams to creatively provide for energy reductions, error removal, work planning, employee training and teamwork.

  • Manage departmental forecast and actual budget tracking.

  • On the lookout for new technology to enhance cost reduction and optimize equipment usage.

  • Ensure all workers under his / her supervision have obtained necessary training.

  • Encourage workers to report violations of company labor, ethics and EHS policies.

  • Ensure identified labor, ethics and EHS issues are corrected in a timely manner.

  • Other duties as assigned.

     



Qualifications
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor/ Master in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

  • Knowledge of construction management methods.

  • Knowledge of architectural methods and techniques.

  • Knowledge of operation of computer terminal and data entry techniques.

  • Must be organized, adaptable and possess strong leadership skills.

  • Budgeting and financial planning skills.

  • Troubleshooting skills and knowledge and creative in problem solving skills.

  • Ability to coordinate major construction projects.

  • Ability to meet schedules and datelines. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively both in oral and in writing. 

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective work relationship with all departments.

  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.

  • Ability to prioritize and schedule work. 

  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field.

  • Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt effective course of actions.

  • Ability to plan and organize work effectively.

  • Lead by example and show results.

  • Develop and motivate associates to achieve goals and excel.
