Position Summary
Responsible for leading precision injection molding operations for connector products, focusing on process stability, tooling optimization, productivity, quality improvement, and automation to support business growth and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
ï· Lead daily molding production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
ï· Develop and optimize molding processes for precision connector components.
ï· Troubleshoot molding and tooling issues including flash, short shot, gas marks, warpage, blistering, and dimensional variation.
ï· Drive cycle time reduction, yield improvement, scrap reduction, and machine efficiency.
ï· Work closely with tooling teams on mold design improvement, maintenance, qualification, and yield enhancement.
ï· Support new product introduction, mold trials, process validation, and production ramp-up.
ï· Lead continuous improvement initiatives in molding processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
ï· Manage and develop molding engineers, technicians, supervisors, and production teams.
ï· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
Job Requirements
ï· Possess a Bachelorâs Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymer, or Tooling Engineering.
ï· Minimum 10 years of experience in precision injection molding, preferably in connectors or electronics manufacturing.
ï· Minimum 5 years of managerial or leadership experience in molding operations.
ï· Strong hands-on experience in molding process optimization and tooling troubleshooting.
ï· Good knowledge of engineering resins such as LCP, PA9T, PA10T, PPS, and high glass-fiber materials.
ï· Experience with high-cavitation precision molds, hot runner systems, and automation.
ï· Strong problem-solving, leadership, people management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
ï· Familiar with scientific molding, DOE, SPC, and process validation techniques.

Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:45pm
