National Airfreight Manager - Special Accounts

Job Description:

• Responsible for developing and managing a local airfreight growth plan.


• Develop and maintain relationships with overseas agents, airlines, suppliers, and customers.


• To support carriers and airlines negotiation.


• Cooperate closely with the Operational Department to support them with reiterated or critical problems in the operations of the air import and/or export.


• To actively drive growth and profitable export air business development.


• Master the export/import process and actively support the team


• Defines and conducts market and client research within the Air Freight market and feeds insights to business line managers to prioritize product development.


• Monitor and publish competitive and market intelligence.


• Identifies go to market and supply (technological and data) partnerships.


• Ensures market requirements of Vertical solution offerings are understood and prioritized by business line management.


• Other duties as assigned

• Well versed in international negotiation and travel


• Extensive knowledge of the Air Freight market


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.


• A creative, forward thinker, with a high degree of initiative, integrity and flexibility.


• Ability to focus, prioritize and work effectively in a fast-developing business environment.


• Proven ability to build strategic working relationships, internal and external to the organization.


• Strong intercultural skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in related field


• 5-10 years relevant work experience.


• Knowledge in airline industry and related business experience


• Ability to negotiate, convince and resolve conflicts both internally externally
