About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead and grow strategic Energy, Resources & Utilities accounts across Malaysia and the ASEAN region. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening executive relationships, leading complex transformation pursuits, and positioning technology-led solutions that deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own revenue, bookings, profitability, and client growth targets for assigned accounts.


• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and senior client stakeholders.


• Identify, shape, and close large transformation opportunities across consulting, cloud, digital, cybersecurity, engineering, infrastructure, and managed services.


• Develop strategic account plans and drive new business within existing and new accounts.


• Lead pursuit strategy, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.


• Collaborate with consulting, solution, delivery, and alliance teams to create differentiated client solutions.


• Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term strategic partnerships.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, account management, or consulting.


• Proven track record managing large strategic accounts within Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas, or related industries.


• Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and winning large transformation deals.


• Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.


• Experience working with global technology services, consulting, or system integration organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent business qualification.


• Strong network within Malaysia's Energy & Utilities ecosystem (utilities, energy producers, oil & gas organizations).


• Understanding of cloud, AI, digital transformation, cybersecurity, engineering services, and managed services.
