JOB SUMMARY:The Officer, Human Capital Management (HCM) provides essential administrative and operational support across core HR functions. The role assists in recruitment activities, onboarding procedures, employee records management, training coordination, HR documentation and employee engagement support. The Officer ensures timely and accurate execution of HR tasks, supporting smooth operational workflow within the HCM team and delivering consistent HR services to employees.
The role is foundational to maintaining HR data accuracy, compliance with HR processes and effective communication across the organisation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Provide administrative support for recruitment processes including posting vacancies, arranging interviews and coordinating candidate communication.
• Assist with onboarding activities such as preparing employment documents, arranging induction schedules and supporting orientation logistics.
• Maintain personnel files and update HRIS records to ensure timely and accurate information.
• Support training and development programmes by coordinating schedules, preparing materials, tracking participation and collecting feedback.
• Assist in compensation and benefits administration including claims handling, attendance tracking and payroll documentation support.
• Prepare standard HR letters, memos, contracts and administrative documents as required.
• Support performance management processes including KPI documentation, appraisal tracking and data consolidation.
• Assist in employee engagement activities including staff events, communication efforts and welfare programmes.
• Generate basic HR reports, summaries and data extracts as needed.
• Respond to employee queries courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure all HR activities comply with employment legislation, internal policies and governance standards.
• Support HRIS updates, digitalisation efforts and improvement initiatives in HR workflows.
• Provide general administrative support including filing, documentation control and coordination activities for HR projects.
• Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistent and high-quality HR service delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:• Diploma or relevant qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of HR administrative or coordination experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR processes and statutory compliance.
• Experience in recruitment support, training coordination or HR documentation is advantageous.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and MS Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism, integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Experience in the built-environment, engineering or consultancy sector is beneficial but not required.
