Penerangan Pekerjaan - Optometrist (KL/Selangor/Johor Bharu)

Conduct Eye Exams: Perform comprehensive tests to check visual acuity, depth perception, and eye coordination.

Diagnose and Treat: Identify conditions like nearsightedness, astigmatism, glaucoma, and other ocular diseases.

Prescribe Corrective Gear: Fit and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, or low-vision aids.

Administer Care: Provide vision therapy, manage pre- and postoperative care for eye surgeries, and prescribe medications where state law allows.

Health Referrals: Screen for general health issues like diabetes or high blood pressure and refer patients to medical specialists.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Optometry

Experience: Fresh graduates and Senior Optometrists are welcome to apply.

Skills: Strong communication, detailed record-keeping, and sharp decision-making abilities

Working hours: Tue to Sat (8.30am-6pm); Sun (10am to 5pm)
