Production Manager

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of production, ensuring that operations run efficiently and
  meet production goals.
  
• Monitor production performance and output, adjusting resources and schedules as needed to
  meet deadlines.
  

• Ensure that all production processes meet the required quality standards and regulations,
  including compliance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001
  
  
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to address quality issues
  and reduce defects in product lines.
  

• Lead and manage the production team, including supervisors, technicians and operators, ensuring
  they are trained in proper procedures and safety protocols. 
  
• Allocate tasks and resources effectively to meet production targets while maintaining quality
  standards.
  

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize
  efficiency, reduce waste, and increase production capacity.
  
• Oversee the use of statistical process control (SPC) and other methods to monitor process
  efficiency and minimize downtime.
  

• Ensure that the production meet all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, addressing any hazards or non -compliance
  issues in the production environment.
  

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of machines and auxiliary equipment, ensuring minimal
  downtime and maximum efficiency.
  
• Implement a preventive maintenance program to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
  

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical
  Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related
  field.
  
• 5+years of experience in manufacturing factory, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  
• Familiar with factory production operations and management, with experience in production
  management, cost control, and quality management.
  
• Experience in setting up an electromechanical manufacturing plant from scratch (0 to 1), with strong
  skills in communication and coordination.
  
• Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with colleagues from diverse
  nationalities and backgrounds.
  
• Strong communication skills and systematic thinking, capable of effectively liaising with headquarters
  and local government authorities
