Project Quality Manager

Job Summary

The Project Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the project execution is in compliance with the Project Execution Plan, which is aligned with the company's Quality Management System and the client's requirements. This includes adherence to all project specifications, regulatory compliance requirements, classification society standards, and local content requirements. The role entails coordinating quality assurance and control activities throughout all project stages, conducting audits, verifications, and surveillance of internal processes, as well as overseeing suppliers and subcontractors.

Job Responsibilities

Quality management and continuous improvement
Supports the Project Management Team (PMT) in developing the Project Execution Plan (PEP), reviewing the project's quality requirements to ensure their integration into the document.

Quality management and continuous improvement:
Develops and upholds the Project Quality Plan and procedures. Coordinates the execution of quality surveillance and audit programs across departments for suppliers and subcontractors.

Quality management and continuous improvement:
Obtain Class and Regulatory Compliance Certifications.

Quality management and continuous improvement:
Participate in a 'Lessons Learned' workshop and collect valuable insights.
Promote programs and training for quality and continuous improvement.
Participate in Quality Management Review Meetings and ensure the completion of action items.

Analytical and problem solving
Monitors Quality KPIs throughout different project phases and initiates actions to prevent the occurrence of quality-related issues. Reviews CAPAs/NCRs to identify root causes and oversees the implementation of corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

Communication and stakeholder management
Serves as the main point of contact for all quality-related concerns, including communication with the client. Engages with the Client Quality Manager and reports on the status of all executed quality tasks.

Communication and stakeholder management:
Highlighting quality-related issues to the Project Manager and the Standards and Compliance section of the Project Management Office. It ensures that all key stakeholders are aligned with the project's quality requirements.

Team management
Oversees project quality professionals from diverse disciplines and locations, ensuring integration of teams and their understanding of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) along with its strategies, with a strong focus on the coordination of quality assurance and quality control processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of quality management systems.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in EPC projects or equivalent.

Competencies

Technical:

• Certified ISO9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent standard.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the management of NCR, including root cause analysis and corrective action/preventive action.

• Project management knowledge. Certification is a plus.
